Katherine Hsu is the founder of the TEDxSantaCatalinaSchool event and club. A senior boarding student at Santa Catalina, Katherine is from Saratoga, Calif. She is passionate about math, science, and business and enjoys playing the cello, drawing, and reading the Harvard Business Review and Architectural Digest. In college, Katherine plans to major in biochemistry, business, or design architecture. Her roles models are Marissa Mayer and Elizabeth Blackwell.

Dr. Kassandra Thompson Brenot ’87, an alumna of Santa Catalina School, is the faculty adviser for TEDxSantaCatalinaSchool. In her role as Assistant Head of Upper School, she oversees the Journey Program and student leadership. Dr. Brenot is also the foreign language chair and currently teaches French and Spanish in the Upper School.
