TEDxSantaCatalina Co-Heads:

Kaki ’19 (left):

Kaki Huebner is a junior boarding student at Santa Catalina School. She first joined TEDxSCS as a member of the Public Relations team during her sophomore year. Kaki hopes that this year’s event “Voices of the World”, will teach the audience that their ideas can be spread on a global level and that they have a voice that should be heard.

Mackenzie ’19 (right):

Mackenzie Roth is currently a junior at Santa Catalina School. She joined TEDxSCS in 2016 and worked on the speaker curation team. Mackenzie has always love organizing events that inspire and represent “ideas worth spreading.” She is so honored and grateful to be this years co-head of 2017 TEDx Santa Catalina event.

Human Resources:

Rowan ’18

Rowan Azhderian is currently a senior day student at Santa Catalina. Rowan joined the TEDxSantaCatalina team as a member of the human resources team during her sophomore year. Rowan is so excited to work as the team Executive Producer and head of the Human Resources team for her second year. She loves to be able to work on many aspects of the event, and is so happy to have the opportunity to be involved with the TEDxSantaCatalina team once again.

Anna ’18:

Anna Baricevic is a senior boarding student. She has been a member of the Public Resources team since her junior year. She is a passionate member of the Santa Catalina Theatre Arts program and loves to use her public speaking and performance skills from the theatre as the TEDxSantaCatalina Public Relations team head. This is her second year on the team and she is very excited to hold a leadership position this year!

Speaker Curation:

Madeleine ’18

Madeleine Oh is a senior day student and has attended Santa Catalina since her freshman year. She joined the TEDxSantaCatalina team in her junior year as a member of the Speaker Curation team. She is now the head of the Speaker Curation team and holds many leadership positions at Santa Catalina. She has always been captivated by TED talks and she is very excited to be working with the curation team and the speakers. She knows this will be another incredible event!

Jessica Almos has attended Santa Catalina since her freshmen year and has been a boarder throughout her entire high school career. She joined the TEDxSantaCatalina team during her junior year as a member of the venue team.  Now, Jessica has moved up to the head of the venue team as well as currently holding many leadership positions at Santa Catalina. She is so glad to be working with the venue team again this year and knows it is going to be another amazing event!

Ali Peyton is a senior day student at Santa Catalina School. She joined the TEDxSantaCatalina website team during her junior year and has been involved in technology and website design since attending the Santa Catalina Lower School. She is very excited to be a part of the amazing TEDx event this year and to lead her team in creating the website.
