This year’s TEDxSantaCatalinaSchool theme is “Creating Connections”. 

Creating Connections it’s a way to form a bond with another person or subjects. It involves a process of using previous knowledge to experience new stories. In our lives, we create connections with people and the world that surrounds us. Building connections is what brings us all together. During this year we experienced a strong connection in our community, gathering teachers, students, and alumni. We share our unique experiences and learn from others. Through this year’s event, we would like you to acknowledge those small yet significant moments that occur unexpectedly, as they have the potential to yield fruitful outcomes, in both personal and professional settings. We can cultivate a sense of gratitude, stay present in these moments, develop a connection, and appreciate this meaningful relationship that we build with others. We hope that you will embrace this opportunity to cultivate meaningful relationships and establish lasting connections.

Our TEDxSCS 2023-2024 team is thrilled to present this year’s event, “Creating Connections,” as Catalina’s second in-person TEDx event since Covid! On March 20, 2024, we present to you various speakers that we hope will encourage you to treasure these moments we have as students and to be grateful for the experiences that we are given.
